Our Originations team is a group of experts in structuring equity to meet the needs of both affordable housing developers and investors. The team is strategically spread regionally throughout the country to provide experience and expertise that is location-based and responsive.
Acquisitions & UnderwritingOur Acquisitions Group is a strong, tenured team of individuals with over 25 years of experience in project management, real estate, property acquisition, financial and tax analysis, and underwriting. With an average of over 18 years with FEP, the team is well-versed in AHIC standards and provides concierge service to our partners throughout the closing process.
Our Construction team is an experienced group of construction professionals with over 20 years of experience in multiple aspects of construction including:
- Construction Risk Management, Document, Contract, and Compliance Review
- Project Approvals and Scheduling
- Developing and Reviewing Plans and Specifications for compliance with LIHTC point awards, “Green” and LEED-certified features
- Soils/geotechnical reporting
- Analyzing probable maximum loss for projects located in high-risk seismic zones
- Site surveys, zoning requirements, and reserve analysis
- Permit Status
Our Asset Management team works to identify, mitigate, manage and report construction, lease-up, rental achievement, compliance, and operating risks. Up to stabilization, the Asset Management group works in close coordination with our Construction team in reviewing monthly draws and processing equity draw requests.
Asset Managers continue processing equity disbursements and monitoring property performance, including workouts as needed, throughout the Compliance Period. Working closely with our well-established team of financial professionals, FEP’s Asset Management team ensures quality, on-time investor reporting for quarterly financial statements and annual audits and tax returns, as well as other performance reports.
